April Fool’s, Quidditch, and Book Club

I have to admit I was happy that we didn’t have school on April Fool’s Day. There is a limit to the number of fake injuries and bugs I can handle without getting peevish. Then, I go online and my plans for a joke free day were thwarted. And I loved it! Google’s post-dating of emails joke was very funny as was something I read on my RSS feed. Very funny.
I have been enjoying the educating alice blog. It is primarily about children’s literature. I enjoyed the article about Quidditch players at colleges. I think it’s awesome that people have made up a way to play Quidditch without flying. So much fun.
An update on my wikiwonderful life: I gave a mini-lesson on wikis at my last bookclub meeting. Since then, everyone has signed up, and a couple of people have been editing the wiki. Yay!
